On-Site Consultations

On-site consultations are the first step in the process and generally last about an hour. During that hour we will assess your landscape needs and discuss general suggestions and goals for your property. If a consultation is all you need, we will follow up with a list of plant recommendations for the areas discussed. If your scope requires landscape design, we will move forward with the design process as outlined below.

Landscape Design

Landscape design offers a holistic and artistic vision for your outdoor spaces by integrating your needs and desires with your existing site conditions and thoughtful plant choices. We focus on both modern and ecological garden design in order to create functional outdoor spaces that benefit humans and wildlife alike.

During the design process, we will conduct a thorough site analysis, mapping light & soil conditions, as well as assess your short-term and long-term landscape goals. We use a combination of drafted drawings, sketches, and pictures to help you visualize our designs and collect relevant feedback. Fees & final deliverables vary according to scope — from a full drawing set to a single scaled plan & plant list — all of which can be used for pricing with landscape contractors or as a guiding map for DIY projects.

Plant Sourcing

Claire Craven Studio can provide plant procurement services for clients who wish to provide their own labor or execute our designs themselves. Plants are deliveried to your property and billed separately from design fees.

Project Management

Although we are a design-only company, we offer project management services in order to help local contractors execute our designs. Our services include pre-construction meetings, construction administration & site visits, on-site plant layout, and more.
